Two charged in the December armed robbery of a Cedartown convenience store

Two Cedartown residents have been charged in the December 10, 2010 armed robbery of a convenience store. Just before midnight on December 10th, 2010, Polk County 911 received a call in reference to an armed robbery the Parachon Mini Mart, located at 1999 Rockmart Highway 278 (formerly Dawson's store). The clerk had been assaulted with a gun and suffered superficial injuries to the back of his head and right ear. The store clerk advised he was pistol whipped about three times by the suspect.
